| DMT MOBILE TOILETS was conceived in 1992
when a young man then, ISAAC DUROJAIYE a.k.a OTUNBA GADAFFI(SAN)
mooted the idea of providing mobile toilets to serve outdoor
events but this idea did not come into reality untill 1996 when the first WAGON TOILET was manufactured locally but in 1999 the company complemented its
locally produced wagon toilets with about 30 plastic portable
toilets imported from the UK. However, to fulfill a burning
desire to localize production of the plastic toilets, the
company acquired necessary technology and know how, to start
manufacturing high quality plastic mobile toilets in Nigeria in
the year 2002. DMT MOBILE TOILETS is the pioneer mobile toilet
company in Nigeria and at present the only manufacturer in the
West African sub-region. |

OUR OBJECTIVES
DMT MOBILE TOILETS initially focused on renting toilets for
parties, religious activities and other outdoor events.
Motivated by the recognition that most cities do not have
functional public toilets and that the vast majority of these
toilets are poorly maintained and inadequate. With the migration
of people to urban centres, the company has begun to make
inroads into the public toilet arena. DMT now provides toilets
at bus stops and in densely populated areas in major cities as
public toilets in order to improve sanitation. |

SOCIAL/EMPOWERMENT IMPACT
DMT MOBILE TOILETS has taken a bold step by hiring idle street
miscreants to manage its public toilets. Each toilet typically
serves about 100 people a day and the street miscreants collect
a token per toilet use. They are required to share a portion of
their proceeds with DMT MOBILE TOILETS (They keep 60% and remit
40% to DMT). Through this partnership, some of these miscreants
not only earn decent salaries, they also gain meaningful work
experience and no more constitute nuisance to the society. |
ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION, PUBLIC
HEALTH & HYGIENE IMPACT
DMT MOBILE TOILETS overtime has contributed tremendously to a
cleaner environment and improved sanitation in major cities. The
company has also created a good sanitation, public health and
environmental awareness. DMT Toilets now provides an alternative
to the current wide spread practice, where people defecate
openly around their environment. |

STRATEGIC PATNERSHIP
Over the past years, DMT MOBILE TOILETS
has also established strategic patnerships with manufacturers of
toilet oriented products. These companies place advertisements
on DMT's toilets located at various points. This additional
revenue enables DMT MOBILE TOILETS to cover a large percentage
of its manufacturing cost, and ultimately better services
delivery as we provide more toilets for the public. |
